I'm a guy and I admit we are that clueless sometimes so yeah that response from a girl would've been perfectly fine by me. But if I were the guy when the girl asks me for the time and I see her watch (and I am actually quick on my feet at that time), then I would do what I responded to #4.

one time I was staying after school with my crush and he asked me what time it was... it was past 3:00 at least and the clock said 1:05. confused I said it was wrong and checked my phone instead, it was right. I got the hands mixed up. ahh, good times(;
