You have to be kidding. At no point in your schooling did they hand you a blank map and make you learn states and capitols? I went to public school in the backwoods outside Nashville, TN, where teachers slept with students and we didn't have enough desks to seat everyone. Somewhere in third grade between being prepared to either join the military or work at Mc Donalds when I grew up, I learned that there was a state called Rhode Island that was, well, not an island.
hey OP my best guess is that you didnt get in? :( sorry to here brush up on your map. Reminds me of the angry canadian who got mad at a american who thought toronto was a state in the US a few post-comments away.
Jesus Christ!! You deserve it you dumbass. I don't live in the US and how the hell do I know more about your country than you do?! Also...maps.google.com. HELLO!!
I wonder hmmmmm....how did u get into college?... u suck somebody. .didn't u?...did u?.... tell us the truth. !!!!..
i hate stupid people
Oh dear, even I knew that and I live in Scotland. Surely you were taught where the states are in primary school?
Unbelievable.... ...and some Americans have a hard time understanding that the rest of the western world thinks that all of US is a black hole of ignorance... YDI
Really? Like which?
This. Even if it was excusable that you're about to go to college and don't know your country's geography, the cardinal rule of interviews/school visits etc. is DO YOUR RESEARCH. When you go into an interview and you don't even know anything about the location the school is in, it is VERY obvious and makes a very bad impression (speaking as a student volunteer in an admissions office).
ok how old are you? in 3rd grade I knew all 50 states and the only island is Hawaii! hello get a map! I live in ct so ofcourse I know rhode island isn't an island but still I would have known that living in California!
Speak properly. You are in no position to be calling out anyone's intellegence when you have such bad grammer not to mention no knowledge of Hawaii. Mermaid beat me to calling you on that one.
Puerto Rico and Guam are islands, but I guess they don't really count 'cause they're territories, eh?
They're not states, so no.
