Not a good look

Today, I was really excited because the girl I'd liked since freshman year asked me out. She came to my house and my mom decided to show her baby pictures of me with tampons up my nose because I'd had a nose bleed. Even worse, there was one picture of me when I was 15 doing the same thing. FML

If you know there are embarrassing pictures of you why don't you go through them and throw out the ones of you as a teen that you hate. It is not that hard, I have pictures I hid or destroyed because my mom kept showing them to people I don't like/want to see. Also, while embarrassing, it is not the end of the world. You will come to a point in your life where you will see that little things like this, in the long run, are nothing. Eventually you will meet someone who thinks your politics, religion, or lifestyle is a problem. You will be faced with sickness, death, or crime. There are people who have parents who beat them, rape them or starve them. Having your slightly weird mother show a girl you like baby pictures is nothing. She will eventually see them if you get married (if being the key word) and unless you plan on cutting your mother out of the picture when you graduate, you will have to deal with her for the rest of your life. Come back to FML when you truly have a ****** up life.
