Everyone gets cold feet before marriage! :) I'm sure you've thought before that it's a big step and you might not be ready for it. Maybe after hearing you say it too, he figured it would be the right thing to call it off, since it seemed as though it wasn't just him feeling that way. Don't worry, I bet it'll all be okay. :}
You can clear that up in a few words...don't worry about it..you'll be happily married with cold feet or not...
