Actually had to sign up just for this. Among the comments there is a huge amount of ignorance, disrespect and abuse aimed at the homeless, with a relatively low amount of reasonable comments (on both sides of the line). Think a lot of people should go do some research about the causes off homelessness rather than making assumptions based on their ignorance.

True story. Look it up. Back in 1994 our then mayor's daughter adopted 2 daughters. I went to school with the older one, but we were not friends or anything, just the same age. We were 11-12 at the time, in the 6th grade. Her adopted mother also allowed some homeless or "troubled" people to stay with them. For her troubles, they were robbed, all three raped, throats slashed & the girl I went to school with was the only one to survive. Then, due to adoption problems, her grandfather the mayor could not get her. Last I heard, she became a drug addict prostitute & had a kid by 16. You best get your mom some serious help, or for the love of god, you BETTER get yourself & any children out of there.

Your mother should have her head examined. NEVER invite strangers into your home unless they are licensed contractors whom you've vetted in advance! Look what happened to Elizabeth Smart as a result of her idiot parents hiring an apparent vagrant who then figured out who lived there, what was in the house, and how to get in and out after dark. Homeless or not homeless, well, it's not even relevant here. I don't think it's too far-fetched that your mother could be charged or even have her parental rights removed as far as you are concerned. The law lets her endanger herself (which she's doing) in this manner, but not someone underage, e.g., you. I hope you will talk to someone at school about what's going on. Please, this is serious.
