Out of curiosity, how many siblings do you have?
It was a different time when OP was born. So this question is invalid IMO. The world is a different place.

No it's not because, if OP has a lot of siblings than her dad has no right to judge OP on how many kids she is having or has. It doesn't matter If OP was born in a different time, and it doesn't matter how different the world is. If OP has 6 or 7 brothers and/ or sisters than the Dad is in no place to judge. If she only has 1 or 2 siblings and OP wants more than 3 and is a questionable age (as in being so young that her family thinks its a bad idea or she is broke, whatever the situation might be) than yes it is a good reason for her dad to say no more. This largely depends on OPs age and her situation in general for me to either say she deserves it or not.

Ya, this depends on the situation. I have a friend who is pregnant with her third kid, each from a different man. Never married, never worked a day in her life. She keeps having them to get the benefits and money from the government. I'd tell her to stop breeding.
I have a relative like that. Only she has 6 kids, two of which are in care. I often tell her to stop breeding. She has a new man so I assume #7 will be announced soon...

Ask him if that's what his parents told him..
The only reason I can think that he might scoff is that you rely on him or others for some sort of support for the other two children. If you were able to care for all of them on your own, I don't see an issue.

This whole FML is highly dependent on your age in my opinion. If you're really young and already at three kids I'd say its a bit much. But shit, what do I know.
I'm sure if she was good at giving comeback she wouldn't be in this situation.
