One rule for thee…

By logic - This FML is from back in 2016 but it's good stuff - United Kingdom

Today, I was asked by my live-in landlord not to put too much water in the kettle because it made the utility bills too high. This is the same woman who takes daily baths. FML

next time she asks you to stop, say you're boiling water to take baths the old fashioned way

The world is full of hypocrites and its our job to deal with them lol

i dont understand baths... what is so relaxing about lying in your own filth?

The worst roommate I ever had would take a bubble bath every night before she went to bed. It wasn't her daily bathing either, she would take a 30 minute shower every morning. Our utility bills would be sky high every month because of that and her doing other things like leaving lights, the tv, etc. on all the time. As a broke ass college student, her racking up ridiculously expensive utility bills and then expecting me to split them 50/50 drove me nuts. I'm just glad my landlord was a cool guy that let me figure out how much I owed for the utilities I actually used and pay him separately. He also let me out of my lease early when her drug dealing boyfriend moved in illegally. The landlord sued hee and she recently had to pay him about $13,000

Who doesn't shower or bathe daily? You deserve it because that's gross if you don't Nate daily.

I reuse kettle water. If I don't use the whole thing the first time I boil it the next day. Why on earth would I pour it out? Come on.

In the kettle? Like a giant black cauldrin????

Do you live in a rural village in the 1800s

It's her building if she wants to take a bath let her ... It's considered hygienic to bathe every day you know

Seriously? You people are agreeing with the OP? Daily baths are a necessity. Fill your kettle half way and go take a shower/bath. Just because you don't smell yourself doesn't mean others don't.

I sweat easily so it's not uncommon for me to shower 2-3 times a day. For all you arguing about whether a bath or shower takes more water - it depends on how long a shower you take. Some will use more with one, some the other.

she might need a couple bars to hold on there
