GOOD LORD. I'm so sorry. That truly sucks. I hope he pays for your treatment or something. I hate the dentist.
The tooth must have been heavily decayed for that to happen. You can't just accidentally cut a normal tooth in half with a dentist's drill. It would take at least several minutes of concentrated effort to do that.
i'll second that. one time my dentist was putting in a crown and he had warned me the tooth was very brittle. next thing i know the dentist was looking very unhappy. there was only a sliver of the tooth left but he put a crown on it. i think your dentist is getting just trying to get more money out of you. get a second opinion.
I just have mostly baby teeth, very soft, I have my bottom and top front adult teeth, I once got a root infection in one of my back baby teeth and when the dentist tried to pull it out it broke, it took a lot of effort and pliers to break my soft baby tooth, I agree, did the tooth break in half or crack?
the tooth might have been rotton half way through or something, I don't see how he could have cut your tooth in "half"
I smell a malpractice lawsute.
In those types of professions, such as a surgeon, the last thing you want to here is "Oops."
Ouch..
An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth..
umm.. that is really hard to believe..It is very difficult to break a tooth even for a dentist unless it is rotted out in which case a filling wouldn't have saved it anyway..
#21, not really, my dad has great teeth, but one time he took a bite of a rib and broke one of his teeth.
So then your dad did not have great teeth. He might have the whitest, prettiest, straightest teeth in the world, but if they broke while eating they weren't that healthy...teeth are one of, if not the strongest bones in your body due to enamel, when they are at healthy they don't break while eating.
Yah i agree with 14, 16, and 21 right there I've had a cavity filled and the tooth would have to be like completely rotten for that to happen.
