Party hard

Today, I was designated driver for my friends. This entailed standing around in the cold for 3 hours, not drinking, dealing with drunk people, and oh yeah, I almost forgot, cleaning up vomit from my hair, my clothes, and my new car. FML

Next time, if youre the DD, take one of the other people's cars..they'll either be more respectful, or it wont matter if they are because you dont have to clean it.

YDI for not realizing something would happen to your new car with a bunch of drunk people in it. I never DD with my own car - especially if I'm not going to be drinking then I'm not OK with having other people's vomit in my car

Social drinking is not bad, I like to go out with my husband a couple times a month and party. We let our kids stay at grandmas and either invite people over, or go to a bar, either way, it's not a bad thing and you're not a drunkard unless you can't live without it and you pretty much stay drunk all the time!
