Today, my friend got a babysitter for the kids and told me she was taking me to a party. My son told me his band was playing at a party. I will be 40 tomorrow, so I thought this would be the best surprise birthday party ever. It WAS a surprise birthday party – for a friend of ours. FML

Today, my ex asked me to take the kids for the day, which was odd as it's her weekend. My son let slip that she was getting ready for a surprise birthday party, but I wasn't supposed to know. As it's my birthday in 3 days, I was touched that she'd planned something. Turns out it's a surprise party for her new boyfriend. FML

Today, I had a surprise birthday party for my mom who turned 57. About an hour into the party, I look over at my mom and she was grinding all over my best friend while holding a bottle of tequila in her hand, and a pair of leopard skin panties hanging out of her pants. FML

Today, I went to a surprise birthday party for a friend. Everyone was hiding and waiting to yell "Surprise!" when I got a call from my mom. I was loudly discussing family gossip and trying to get my mom to hang up when the door opened. Everyone yelled "Surprise!" and then turned to stare at me. FML

Today I found out my husband was throwing a 50th surprise party for me, and no one RSVP'd because of my best friend starting arguing with everyone in a group text. This was going to be the first big party or surprise party that I'd ever had. FML

3. What's wrong with other people having birthday parties? I bet your friend got a surprise party because he/she was patient and waited until his/her actual birthday, rather than being like you, and expecting that whenever there is a party, it must be for you, because you think your so special. congrats, you are now 'over the hill' no big deal! 4. your son wouldn't have told you he was playing at your 'surprise party' unless he was physically incapable of keeping even the simplest of secrets!

There are multiple things wrong with this: 1. Why would you think they would give you a surprise party a day early? what's wrong with having it tomorrow? it's not called a day-before-your-birthday party, now is it? 2. Why would your friend tell you that she was taking you to your surprise party?? therefore it wouldn't be a surprise! to everyone out there planning a party, here's a tip, don't tell them about the party, If you do indeed want it to be a surprise!

#57 : first of all both answers were gay but number 2 She said her friend was taking her to a party. Her friend never told her it was a surprise party. She just jumped to conclusions.
