Thats an fyl for getting a shit piercing and an f his life for sucking at his job and having amnesia
So not only did you volunteer to get some foreign object poked through your skin, but you had to pick a complete amateur to do it? This is the part where I always have trouble keeping my mouth shut about gene pools and idiots.
body piercing dates back hundreds of years. it just didn't really become popular in the western world until Jim Ward opened the Gauntlet and Elayne Angel became a professional piercer. "idiots and gene pools" don't really apply. maybe you should do a little research and learn about cultural history. in some places, a nostril piercing can mean a woman is married. in others, large, stretched earlobes symbolize wisdom. etc. it's not just a fad that some alleged idiot from an alleged poor gene pool pulled out of his/her ass...which is where your head seems to be. /:
Read my post again... Where do I say anything bad about piercing? I am saying something about how having it done by an amateur is an idiotic choice. Our skin wasn't made for piercing, so the least you can do is pick someone who knows how to do it properly. Gangreen isn't pretty...
your post very much implied that you're against piercing. and if our skin wasn't made for it, why do I have 29 successfully-healed piercings, including two in my tongue? I've literally never heard of someone turning gangrenous from a piercing. the human body is an amazing thing. there are lots of things it wasn't meant for, but that doesn't, and will never, stop us from doing them (drinking soda for example).
Why do other piercings look bad? Typical to go for the most common piercings. Piercings are becoming more & more popular, and I don't see why people should be judged as having "self-esteem issues" because of them.
How are piercings straight....?
Sometimes piercings shift.. So it may not be his fault. He could've pierced it perfectly and it just happened to start moving before it healed for all we know.
that's only possible if the shop didn't have you sign a waiver before the piercing was performed. this is because most piercing problems come from the piercee's poor aftercare (for example, if you get your nipples pierced and you change the jewelry to rings that are too small, the piercings are pretty much guaranteed to migrate/reject. but that's just one example).
hahahaha we live in nz not america. can't sue over here and wouldn't do it for something as petty as a crooked piercing
And you should've left as soon as this idiot said that! :(
You should ask to see his qualifications, and read up on the rating the place has. I got my nose pierced a few months ago, stupidly not checking the rating the shop had. The guy pierced it too far back, and it had to be taken out to heal up again. You should check online for their ratings and reviews, and don't ever take a cheap piercing over a quality one. My previous nose piercing was £10, as were all their piercings, and I've yet to hear someone telling me they done a good job. A lip ring costs around £26, and a nose ring around £25 from a good reputable piercer.
