Today, I found out why my boyfriend doesn't want me to get a full-time job, despite us needing the money. He's scared that I'll cheat on him with one of my coworkers, to get back at him for doing it a few years ago. I never knew he cheated on me. FML

Today, I found out my boyfriend cheated on me with his boss so he could get a promotion and "provide" for us. This from the guy who made me quit my job because he said he made enough money to support us both. FML

Double standards

Today, I found out my boyfriend of two years cheated on me. His reason? "You were flirting with me for a whole year before us when you had a whole boyfriend at the time. How do I know you aren't a cheater?" His further reasoning was that at least if I cheated on him, he'd have a reason to stay with me. FML

Today, I found out my boyfriend is cheating on me. His excuse was that I never had time for his needs anymore. He’s unemployed but I guess me working and studying to get my degree so we could move out of his parents’ house was too much. Now I have no place to go. FML

Today, it's been 4 years since I cheated on my boyfriend and we broke up. I've moved on within those four years, but I found out the reason I have such a hard time getting a new man now is because my ex, who still works the same minimum wage job, still goes out of his way to tell everyone he knows about our breakup. FML

Today, I discovered why my boss kept on scheduling me to work doubles almost every day. It wasn't because she knew I needed the extra money; she was hoping that my boyfriend would break up with me because I'm never home, and date her instead. It worked. FML

If any man prevents you from developing your career or social relation out of "fear" and will to control dump him. It will only get worse. Don't stay in toxic relationship where you need to even ask your bf if to get a job or not.

Honey, run. One of the first signs of an abusive partner is that they isolate you. Have you lost contact with any friends or family? Your boyfriend will be behind that. It will only get worse, and he will soon be guilt tripping you into not going anywhere without you. He will also destroy your trust in your own judgement and abilities so that you eventually don't have the courage to leave him. Find a way, even if you have to get a friend to come pick you and you stuff up and just leave. Run, run, run. PS: He has had more than one affair. Insecure people like that need constant external validation, and they get that from affairs. Run.
