Today, my best friend whom I have been in love with for years, called me, proposed, and confessed his love for me. He was at a noisy bar so I asked him to call me back later and we'd discuss it. He called back later, hungover, with no recollection of our conversation whatsoever. FML

Today, my boyfriend proposed to me. I said yes. This caused him to panic, excuse himself, then take it back via text message a half hour later, claiming he'd been drunk. We live together. When he comes back home, it's going to be very awkward indeed. FML

Today, I was on the phone with my best guy friend, who I have loved for years. I was talking about school and all of a sudden he said, "I love you." I flipped out saying, "Oh my god, oh my god. I love you too!" He responded with, "What?" He was talking to his mom, who was walking out the door. FML

just because he called back doesnt mean he remembered. He might of called because he went through his call history trying to piece together his night ( happened too many times, really) or he might of called just cuz they're best friends and sometimes calling a good friend is all you can manage when severly hung over. however, i've never confessed love for someone with out being attacted. Just remember drunks can often exaggerate though, so try to go on a proper date before planning your wedding

he only told u when he was drunk because he was to scared to tell you when he wasn't or he didn't think you were ready. that doesn't mean he was making a joke.
