Remember bars?

By Baby_girl - 06/06/2009 02:14 - United States

Today, my best friend whom I have been in love with for years, called me, proposed, and confessed his love for me. He was at a noisy bar so I asked him to call me back later and we'd discuss it. He called back later, hungover, with no recollection of our conversation whatsoever. FML

If it was genuine, you'll hear about it again!

They say ppl speak the truth while drunk so you'll most likely hear about it again.

OBJECTION! How'd he call back if he had absolutely no recollection of the conversation to begin with?

They say people let out their true feelings when they're drunk. Don't worry, he was probably telling the truth! Approach him about it :]

If he called you it means he does remember the conversation because you told him to call you... he's probably afraid of telling you again... confront him about the conversation!!!

Its impossible for a man to be "best friends" with a woman unless, unless he really just wants to get with her and is just too afraid to say it. His drinking obviously caused him to lose this inhibition, so no surprise there. It looks like neither of you have balls to be straight up about say how they feel.

Call him on it. And if it makes you feel any better, he'd have just woken up and not known why he was engaged so it's better this way not to get your hopes up. Think how many people you would have called and told the good news to just to reverse it. Now THAT would have been an FML.

So what's the big deal? That's great, you're both in love with each other, call him up & have sex or something. How could someone possibly construe finding out the person they love loves them back as a bad thing?

A drunk mans words are a sober mans thoughts. You'll hear about it again.

Man, if that was me and I was so in love, I wouldn't have just been like "That's nice, call me later!", I'd have been like "WHERE ARE YOU I'M COMING"
