Repaired

Today, I paid a repairman $65 to come to my house to fix my washer. He walked in, looked at the washer, bent over and removed a large steel bolt with a bright red tag sticking out the side that said, "Remove before use." He then looked at me and said, "All fixed." FML

I bet when you got a computer you called tech support because it wasn't turning on...because you didn't plug it in.

So basically, all the people commenting are perfect, 100% of the time. Also, why does everyone assume that he's "complaining"? I mean, he is mentioning his problem, but-- that's what this site is for, isn't it? If YOU paid sixty-five dollars so that a man could do something that should have been obvious, wouldn't you be saying, "FML"? This is EXACTLY what this website is for. Why are you morons getting mad at the guy? Yeesh. "What? You're upset because you foolishly lost a lot of money? That's not something to be the slightest bit annoyed about!" Wankers, all of you.

I totally pictured him as the janitor from Scrubs.

Yls, I used to install these in people's homes, the installer is supposed to remove the shipping rod so I can't fault the OP for a crappy install job. Hope you didn't tip them :/

This totally happened to us, after we couldn't work out why our washing machine was walking round the garage every time we turned it on haha

I did this exact same thing, trying to help my grandma with her new washer. Luckily, the visit was covered under warranty and my grandma was too thankful it worked (and too nice a person) to blame me.
