Today, a 5-star hotel restaurant took a hour and fifteen minutes to serve me a single burger. FML

Was this an off menu order? If it was on the menu, it's a FML. But if you just ordered a burger because you didn't like their selection, it's a YDI.

Don't blame them, op, have you ever tried to catch a cat by hand? The things are really fast, and man do they hate ovens..

When that burger is slow cooked to perfection.

So did the burger taste good since you are at a 5 star hotel? Most people order something on the menu that you can't get at other places. Be lucky you are able to eat at a 5 star hotel. I don't feel that this is an FML worthy post. Go cry to someone that can't afford food because I am sure they will comfort you. (That was sarcasm if you couldn't tell) You ungrateful ass clown!!

This isn't sarcasm. Stop being a dick. He has a right to complain about his own life, whatever life it is. You don't get to judge other people when they haven't done anything wrong. He expected, rightfully, better service from a 5-star restaurant. Perhaps there were other details we don't have, but we work with what we do and the real jackass here is you.

You did not have to stay. You could of cancelled your order with the explanation that it was taking to long. Pay for the food and drink you received and leave. Allowing yourself to be treated like this is your fault.

I would guess a 5-star restaurant doesn't cook a lot of burgers as they specialize in some other things. As such they probably made it wrong the first 5 times...

you're st a 5 star restaurant and you order a burger?
