first off you dont NEED a cell phone but it does make life a lot easier. second, who gives a **** what your flatmates want you to buy, get what you want not what those retards want. third, stop buying groceries. eat out or something just dont buy any food, watch them starve or go broke.

Start buying tofu. Use a pay phone. And tell them you are allergic to tv.

You won't accomplish anything by being a submissive sheep. Time to 'man up' and grow a pair...and accept the possibility of getting new flate mates

Start keeping your food in a locked cabinet or closet. That won't stop them from eating what's in the fridge, but it'll help some. And just put your foot down and refuse to pay for the TV. They can't force you to pay for it if you just keep saying no. Besides, it doesn't make sense to split it anyway, because how do you decide who gets it when you all move out? Your best option now is to just sit them down and tell them how it is. For example: "I don't want a TV, and even if I did I can't afford it because any extra money I have goes to replacing all of MY food that gets eaten by YOU." If they don't believe you, save your receipts and make a list of all of the things that get eaten by your roommates without your permission. If you really want to drive the point home, you can then add up all of the money you could have saved if it hadn't been stolen and show it to them. If none of the above works, some strategically placed laxatives should do the trick.

I think if you grew a pair you wouldn't have had a problem to start with. Sharing is one thing but greedy flat mates needs to be put to a halt.

Time for some new flatmates

Don't pay for the TV. Don't buy food for the week...just start eating his food.

Here's what you do: Grow a pair, sit them down and tell them that A) You pay your fair share of the rent and thus have a say in the place itself. If you can't afford to put money towards the TV then they can buy it and you pay them back over time or they can buy it when you have the money B) Every food item of yours will be henceforth labeled and if it is eaten, they will be required to pay you for it. They awoke the dragon by being assholes and they may get burned should they choose to continue. C) You are an adult. You have responsibilities and needs which you must fulfill. These are non-negotiable. If a cell phone contract is necessary at this point and you can only afford to get that, THEN THAT IS WHAT YOU WILL BE GETTING. Don't let them rule your life when you're an equal partner.
