Rough school

Today, my daughter admitted that she doesn’t have any friends at her elementary school. When I asked her why, she said it was because whenever she talks to any of the other kids, she gets punched in the face. FML

Hell nah! This FML gave me flashbacks. The teachers, principal, the students attacking her and the student's parents need to addressed and action needs to be enforced. Options 1. Notify all of them. They need to get disciplined 2. Your daughter needs to practice self-defense. **** that 'violence isn't the answer' bs. She needs to stand up for herself and hit back twice as hard (you don't have to do this but I recommend putting her in a martial arts class). 3. Teach her proper social kills to better her awareness. Sometimes, it's better to not have friends and know your self worth. Teach her how to read people and how to safely pick her friends 4. Transfer her out the school. She needs a fresh start. 5. Evaluate her mental health. Being bullied physically takes a massive toll. I know from experience. She cannot grow numb or use to it. She needs to address it appropriately. Maybe she needs therapy. She needs to learn from this cause this is how people can be. Especially horrific children. You can transfer her to any school and a similar or same issue can continue. I was transferred out of public school for getting harrassed into Catholic school. That didn't fix anything. The bullying I endured got 10(x) worse and I ended up learning the hard way. I don't want your daughter or anyone else to experience that type of torture throughout their youth. Poor thing.

Agreed. No teachers are stopping this? What the ****?

That is assault and not only can the kids be charged but the school for not telling you or dealing with it.

You're all assuming that the girl isn't doing something to the other kids. Not saying any kid deserves to be punched in the face, but you may not be getting the entire story. You do need to get to the bottom of it regardless.
