#169 -- i totally second your opinion on kids. the kids in stories i've read on FML are TERRIBLE, they're like...PURE EVIL...DEVOID OF ALL INNOCENCE AND...and they use their CUTENESS to fool their victims into their disgusting tricks, and they get away with all the disgusting things they do and say to people (for example, the brat who peed on one of the OPs and then locked herself in her room, seeking perfect safety while she laughed at the poor babysitter OP's misfortune.. WTF...) of course not all kids are like this, but there seem to be an insane amount of them around. AND the kid in this FML probably doesn't even realise he's been trained to be the most anti-social brat in the neighbourhood. His parents obviously care about him so much, BUT LACK the common sense AND INTELLIGENCE required to realise that they're RUINING his social skills and more than likely his entire life. they sound like the kind of people who would DISOWN him without a second thought if he came out as gay, or if he dyed his hair black and listened to anything more hardcore than LIFEHOUSE... they are teaching him that EVERY member of the community is a rapist or kidnapper, and they are technically teaching him that he can 'get rid of' anybody he doesn't like just by walking up to them and screaming - his parents, having taught him 'well', simply call the cops and THERE YOU HAVE IT, bad guy disappears. The parents don't have the common sense or intelligence to realise that instead of teaching him this antisocial and degrading habit, they should be teaching him to interact in a non-hostile way, keeping a safe distance and using COMMON SENSE to determine whether the stranger he has met LOOKS like a dangerous person. the kid could use COMMON sense to assess the threat level. his parents are telling him that a man jogging down the street GIVING HIS BALL BACK is JUST AS DANGEROUS as a man (or even group of men) in a black van with CANDY written on the side, doors open, telling him to GET IN. his parents have no idea how to raise a child, and the OP in this FML should SUE THEIR ARSES FOR ALL THEY OWN for defamation of character. also, the child should be taken in by DOCS or social security or whatever and BROUGHT UP THE RIGHT WAY...so we have one less degenerate idiot to deal with in society in the future. the parents can go cry and retreat into their perfect little conservative household and wonder why their lives are so horrible. they're probably too old to learn from their mistake. IT'S ONLY GOING TO GET WORSE, PEOPLE!!!! phew...*takes deep breath and continues reading FMLs*
