Today, being too poor to buy makeup, I walked into Macy's and "tested" some products out, just so I could look nice for my job interview. FML

#47, I barely wear any make up either (just eye shadows and mascara) but for a job interview, I will make an effort and do the full face. It makes you look more presentable and professional (if done correctly). Also some girls need it for confidence.

Also, to interviewers that notice this kind of thing, it shows that you care enough about the job to take such effort to make a good impression and make sure that you look good whether you are beautiful or not without makeup.

I think it's not necessary either. I think it's a little sexist of our world that women are expected to wear make up and put all that effort into looking good. Sure, you should look clean and well taken care of, but I don't believe that should involve make up. Why can't we just take a shower and put on some nice, representative clothes, shouldn't that be enough?

Yeah great for you women who like makeup and whatnot, but I have never worn it in my life and get jobs fine without it. Not all women need makeup.
