Self-esteem boost

Today, I have been dating an incredibly gorgeous woman. She had a poor self image and after the longest time, I finally convinced her to seek counselling to help her self esteem. It worked. So well in fact that she just broke up with me because she "finally realized she could do so much better" FML

Well that really sucks cause you just helped her break up with you. But technically, she couldn't do better because without you, she wouldn't be able to ask anyone else.

This happened with two of my ex boyfriends. Their ex's before me had cheated on them so I spent months and months making them feel better, helping their egos and fixing them. As soon as it was all done, they bailed and went and found skin pretty girls. It's horrible. To put all that effort in the help someome for them to just shit all over you, and if you hadn't helped them, they would of stayed but been broken. Its a lose lose. :/
