I had something similar happen to me. I've had an insulin pump for 6 years now and am completely used to having this happen. My boyfriend was way more upset than I was. Aside from ruining the mood everything was fine.

My boyfriend has an insulin pump as well, but this has never happened to me. Hope he's okay. That sucks, OP.

Gettin it riped out hurts only a little most of the time! The only bad part is that u realize u let gunna have to put a new infusion set back in! I would know I have one and have gotten it ripped out

He really should've just unhooked it...there are reasons it's easy to unhook: showers, swimming, and sex...mostly sex. That's his fault for leaving it there, not yours.
