Smoke 'em while you can

By OuttaNowhere81 - 15/05/2009 04:05 - United States

Today, I was smoking a cigarette in my backyard while my parents were out, because I'm not allowed to smoke. While smoking, my parents came home unexpectedly. In a rush, I flicked it over the fence, and it landed in my neighbor's hair. It was still lit. FML

That's what you get for smoking, nitwit. I hope you at least apologized to your poor neighbor.

YDI. I don't care if people smoke or not, just be responsible.

My opinion on smokers is that they were kind of stupid for starting the habit in the first place (and I know some smokers who feel this way), but I don't dislike them at all. I actually enjoy the smell of cigarette smoke, both in the air and in clothing, even though I've never smoked once in my life. But I DO dislike little teenage ***** that smoke because they're "so rebellious and cool!" YDI, asshole. Oh, and @31 -- you're a dick. How about YOU take up smoking and then see how "weak-willed" these people who can't quite really are.

secret smoking in your parents' backyard? REALLY mature.

No, #32, I'm saying they are stupid and weak-willed for starting in the first place. Unless someone repeatedly forced cigarettes down their throat they definitely had a choice, and they made the wrong one. It's as simple as that. If you choose to start you are either too stupid to realize the consequences (when we repeatedly learn about them in school), or too weak-willed to resist your so-called friends who smoke.

heres my main problem. i have asthma so when i walk through the entrance to a building it will probably take me 5 min to stop coughing just because youre smoking there. no medicine can fix that. youre not only damaging your own body, if you want to not harm others... take up drinking. anddd. the world is not your ashtray. cigarette butts all over sidewalks and roads makes me want to cry. i should just dump my mcdonalds in your yard and see how you feel. #21 why in the world would you want to harm your body? beats me.

Next time at least have a party while their out.. thats what I did and I turned out just fine

I'm a smoker, once in a blue moon because I love the smell/taste and I have exercise induced asthma. I never cough, not even when I started. My butts also go into a container of some sort and I throw it away in a trashcan, I don't litter. I also started because it's been in my family for YEARS, you're more likely to start smoking when someone you know smokes. My parents didn't smoke, but my grandma and everyone before that did, that caused my brothers to start smoking. I learned from them. My schooling also never even taught about how bad cigarettes were until I got to highschool, AFTER I'd been smoking for a few years. Also, take up drinking to not harm others? Have you ever heard of drunk drivers killing people? As for OP, ******* hilarious. I guess that's what you get. Carry around an almost empty water bottle to toss it in, that's what I do.

right cause you knowing someone who smokes makes you start smoking few years before you even started high school? and who the **** needs to be taught that smoking is bad? like you had NO idea.

wait you started smoking years before high school??? That's ****** up.

1) Obviously if you're living at home and Mommy & Daddy say "no smoking"... well it's their house and yard. 2) The neighbor's yard is NOT your trash can. Personally I think Mommy & Daddy should make you go clean his yard now for treating it like a dump. I'm not against smoking though - I'm just against underage smoking and smokers who treat the world as their ash tray. That's nasty. I am however against people using the words "u" and "ur" because it's just as stupid as how others view smoking. >:)

The lesson learned here is do not smoke. It's not cool. In the end it's always you that ends up screwing yourself whether it be setting the neighbors hair on fire or dying 20 years later in hospice care after wasting away from the cancer. You sound like you're young so if you read this please reconsider the "coolness" of smoking - you could miss out on your children's lives.
