Today, I practiced my drum playing in the garage instead of my room out of consideration for my neighbors. Guess the consideration wasn't mutual, because one of my neighbors just shot a hole in one of my drums with an air gun. FML

Where's the part where you called the police and pressed charges for shooting at you and vandalism? If you don't say anything about the crime, you don't get to whine about it later.

Sorry but I clicked 'you deserve it' mostly cause even tho you thought you were being considerate by playing in your garage, I doubt you sound proofed the garage. Maybe one of your neighbors works night shift and you kept them awake. Though it was excessive that they shot your drums and that sucks, it's kinda understandable that they did it but that doesn't mean I think they were right in doing that.

I wouldn't call an airsoft gun a deadly weapon, but aside from that I agree.

Air guns are treated nearly the same as a gun. Youre shooting at an individual and if it was a high enough fps to go throw a drum its high enough to potentially do permanent damage to somebody.

He said simply air gun, which come in far more powerful flavors than airsoft guns. My own air gun is potent enough to put two holes into a clay flowerpot from thirty meters away. That *could* kill if one just happened to hit the wrong spot... So definitely nothing like a toy, and a serious weapon that should be respected as such.

If it was America it wouldn't be just an air gun but a real gun and it wouldn't just be a hole any random but place but at least 5 holes in your chest (and 88 holes if random police officer appeared). If it was the us anyway then I think your neighbor was very considerate for "just" using an air gun! What a nice neighbor.
