My mom has always held this view, too. Do what I do: watch it after she goes to sleep or on your laptop. I know it sucks but moms like that aren't going to change any time soon, and since you're not doing anything inherently wrong by watching these shows, you might as well settle on this compromise.

Today, after I invited my friend to a movie and she cancelled on me because she had to study, I obviously agreed and cancelled our tickets, I was scrolling through Instagram stories and came across hers, and saw she was with one of her friends in that same movie theater. FML

Today, I “caught” my partner looking at porn, again. I walked in on him with his cock out, looking at his phone. He jumped to put it away, except just like last time, I told him we could watch together, but he's “too ashamed” to even discuss it.
