sounds like grandma may be going senile. seriously, innappropriate emotional responses can be evidence of that, or of some weird medication interaction. Also, i'm not sure why, but in people over 65 or so, UTIs cause dementia-like symptoms ( ie telling you to eff off for helping her). talk to grandad/your parents and get someone to check in with granny's doctor. for reals

Today, my grandpa forgot that my aunt set up a baby monitor in his bedroom in case of a fall. I’m sitting in the living room with his wife - who is deaf - and I hear him moaning over the baby monitor. My grandfather was jerking off and forgot that someone could hear him. I wish I could forget too. FML

Today, 98 year-old mom with dementia thought she was talking to one of my dead sisters and not my wife, telling her she'd better never tell me who my real father really, that I ruined her marriage. She won't have me ruining her reputation, so her getting pregnant with me from an affair was my fault apparently. None of my siblings ever told me. FML
