My grandma was like that. She was independant all her life and even the mafia was afrid of her. She was always so strong and didn't let anyone make her feel weak or helpless. SHe had been though so much in her life. No one could help her with chores even when she was criticly ill or they'd get a butt whooping then, or when she got better. I tried hellping her once and she hit me with a broom. But I love and respected her. I'm happy she's in a better place now.
