Tell you what... Hold your phone at arms length or back away from the monitor, cover your right eye and read the following: I A M A I N S E N S I T I V E J E R K Now cover your left eye and read the letters again. appointment over!!! Happy?
I don't see why everyone's bashing the OP. I don't think he was being a jerk, as most doctors remind you of an appointment the day before (and a lot of times it's a voice recording). I think the FML is that his optometrist died. Some people are close to their doctors. Maybe the OP has known him for a long time. A lot of people are jumping to ridiculous conclusions.
You suck. Why would you consider this FML worthy? ughghhh
how is this a FML for you is what i wanna know?
omg that's sad. rip buddie :(
Right. **** YOUR life because some poor schmuck died and it was inconvenient to YOU. Right...

i had to read this a couple times to try and figure out what the FML is and I still don't know
#30, the post isn't unclear. What is unclear is how this is an FML for the OP. What difference would answering the phone have made? Same outcome either way. Is OP seriously complaining because a doctor she sees once a year inconvenienced her? FHfamily'sL, not hers.
