that's a good point
Don't you just hate when they cancel on you? I mean WTF!
me too
OP deserves it for thinking THEIR life is effed because they can't make any more appointments with the doctor/all other ones were cancelled. Think about the man's family for once, ass hat?
#27 has a good point. How is this an FML for you?
This isn't so much an FYL as it is an FHLL ( F*** His Late Life ) Kind of depressing post OP...
Holy shit I live in MA and my eye doctor just died. :( Let me guess, Middlesex county, His last name started with a B?
what an ass.... he could at least complete the appointments he made before he died.
no ******* shit. you're a selfish dick for thinking this is a fml moment. DICK.
@snick: you used an unneeded comma in your comment. now you're gonna die. jk, I actually don't have a beef againts you. and to everyone who says guys life is ******: how can the dead guy's LIFE be fckd if he is, well, ******* DEAD!?! the stupidity level of some of you people is over 9,000!!!!!!
D: better get one a them white canes, and a pair of sunglasses! ;D
thats a little ******, its not his fault! this is a selfish fml, i don't see how it got accepted! actually, its not even an fml! his poor ******* family!
first of all, awesome LBJ pic. and how is this fyl? obviously y'all weren't close. stupid
#27: exactly
oh relax! it's an fml coz the op feels like a turd for not checking his voice MSG and obviously feels bad because the optomitrist had died.
inappropriate.
Tell them you require 24 hour notice for cancellations, otherwise you're billing them $89.
I didn't know OP had a sex change operation... But anyway, fyl OP.
i had to read this a couple times to try and figure out what the FML is and I still don't know
for real. how is this an fml unless you were emotionally attached to your doctor? yeah it's sad that he passed and I'm in no way trying to sound like a coldhearted bitch, but can't you just find another doctor?
ExplaiNNNNNNNNN. N NNNNN. N . n' plz.
#30, the post isn't unclear. What is unclear is how this is an FML for the OP. What difference would answering the phone have made? Same outcome either way. Is OP seriously complaining because a doctor she sees once a year inconvenienced her? FHfamily'sL, not hers.
Exactly, how is this an FML? Answering the call would not have made any difference. If anything, it saved the awkward "Umm... that sucks, sorry for your loss" conversation. I could see it as an FML if they DIDN'T check their messages and still showed up for the appointment. F the family's life, F the life of the poor receptionist who had to make those calls while grieving. But in no way is this an FML for a patient who was inconvenienced and feels bad about someone dying that they hardly know.
no she's 'seriously' NOT complaining, jeez haven't u read the other comments?! the op feels bad and this is clear enough in the post!
that's still not a FML
omfg.....like so many pol are passing away today but anyways u shouldve answered ur orthadonist call
u mean optometrist call rite *
I think you kind of deserve it. Because you ignored the call. But thats more of a bad thing for his family than it is for you.
damn
I agree... more like ftol.. (f the optomotrists life)
And your life is ****** becauussee...?
Exactly my thought!
I definitey agree with number 12. YDI.
