You saw a spider on the floor, so you slept on the floor instead of up in your bed? 🤔
The phrase “had to” is doing a lot of heavy lifting here.
Why so many YDI's when the world knows arachnophobia is extremely common? Unsympathetic lot.
Because, as Jall said, they saw a spider on the floor, so rather than sleep up off of the floor in a bed, they slept on the floor.
Good, so you could be closer to the ants and roaches!
I feel you. I woke up to a spider on my pillow once, freaked, Mum came in, turned the light on saw the issue, told me to stop being dramatic, turned the light off and shut the door. I slept in the lounge for a week. Now I live on my own I LOVE the plug in vermin and bug repellers. I have one in every room and no spiders. I originally bought them for a rat problem in my first flat, discovered that spiders don't really like them either and kept them. The new fangled hand held vacuums are great for the odd stray that wanders in during the summer as well. Chin up and ignore the people who really just don't understand. You are not alone. 🫂💋
You think it can't crawl up a cushion, or what?
