Sticky

Today, I read that using vegetable oil would give your legs a smooth feel, especially if you haven't shaved for weeks. So I tried it out. My legs felt slimy, the oil clogged up the blades, and I was reduced to shaving my legs with a naked razor head and soapy water. Endlessly smooth indeed. FML

You idiot, you use a tiny amount of oil AFTER you shave!!!

I've never heard of shaving your legs with oil.... apparently it's a bad idea.

Olive oil or baby oil or whatnot sounds like a more sensible option. And, after you shave, like people above me have already said :) Always makes my legs super smooth!

I bet the OP's sink was as clogged as yours when she was done. ;)

cute kitty! and that's an interesting sink too. lol I've only seen them like that with 2 faucets.

No, I don't think that "pussy" is wet since, judging by the state of the kitty's fur, it's dry. Try again next time!

sounds gross, never heard of that before

Moral of the story? Don't believe everything you read. Or at least follow directions carefully and in order

Umm... You haven't shaved in weeks but you STILL can't wait a day and go buy shaving cream? It honestly wouldn't have killed you. YDI, OP, but I don't see how your life is F'd unless this happens every time

The point of shaving cream/soap is to remove the oil, making the hair stiffer for the blade. Then a little oil after for the skin. And by little I mean a few drops.

Here's a novel idea. Rinse your legs. Clean them with soap. Rinse your blade under hot water. Apply shaving lotion. Proceed as normal. Then add oil/lotion. Or you can just use a razor blade to scrape the oil off like this is 1100. Either way.

Seriously? Do you believe everything you read? Please don't breed.

I know, hardly a Darwin but come on. And not using a little dishsoap to get rid of the oil. OK, maybe shouldn't play with matches?
