Today, I was at my boyfriend's house waiting to surprise him when he got home from work. I was laying in his bed when he called to tell me we were over. I couldn't leave before he got home. FML

My ex convinced me to stay with him. I dealt with it another 2 months and was miserable the entire time. not a good idea.

Immature, and out of line. People are allowed to break up with you. Unless you'd rather they just cheat on you. And people will always bitch about the manner in which the break up happens. If it were face to face, people would still bitch and say that there should have been chocolates or something.

I would have owned it and freaked him out by demanding more than just a phone break-up right on the threshold of his own home. She went there to wait for him to finish work and surprise him once he got home. I'm sure she could've left but he was most likely almost home when he broke up with her over the phone so she didn't have enough time to avoid him.
