Today, while taking the bus home, a girl stared at me for a while before asking me if I'd ever heard of makeup. FML

You should have asked her if she's heard of not needing make up to feel beautiful.

Don't take it to heart, OP. People are assholes and if you were to pay them any mind they'd win. I'm sure you're beautiful inside and out

Ask her if she's ever heard of keeping her thoughts to herself.

What a ****. Don't take it to heart, she must have a shitty life and very insecure.

"What's the point?, it obviously didn't help you"

Should've asked if she's ever heard of an attitude adjustment, and then suggest she get one.

I've found that these are the best people to respond to because they always get the maddest. Say something like "you ever heard of manners?" And I can almost garuntee she would be fuming for a week.

Thing is, she wouldn't, even if OP used a comeback that was actually witty. People like that are incapable of feeling shame or recognizing when they've been "defeated".

Don't let it get to you. I had a girl tell me I'd be pretty if I just wore makeup every day. They're the ones who need help.

Am I one of the only females that don't wear make-up? I always found it annoying and could never get it to work, so I just kinda gave up...

You're not the only one. I'm a female and I don't bother with makeup. Looking for nice clothes that look good on me is enough of a hassle.

I'm female and don't wear make up. It feels like mud to me and I see no reason to put it on just to take it off at the end of the day. A waste of money to me, but if you wear it, more power to ya. Just don't try to give me a make over and we're cool.

I don't touch it, it either doesn't make a difference when I put it on or I end up not looking like me and taking it off. A friend put a tiny bit on me one time and I felt like a drag queen :(

I wear it sometimes, but not regularly. Only when I'm going to an event or feel the urge to. And even then half the time I don't do it. I feel people should wear what they like or not wear what they don't like, it's sad many others can't feel the same way.

should've asked her if she has ever heard of manners. Since she seems to lack at that.

"Ever heard of minding your own ******* business so you don't get your teeth knocked out?"

Hmm, which quip to use? "Yes, I've also heard of tact." Or "Makeup doesn't do anything if your personality is ugly." Or maybe "No, I have never heard the term in my life, please tell me what is this 'May-Cup' and what purpose it serves." Or you could just say. "I see you have." Leaving it up in the air if it's a slam or a compliment.

Damn, you'd be a great person to rap-battle with! :D
