Supportive

Today, completely excited, I told my mom about this guy from high school that I had really liked and who had found me on Facebook. He said he regretted not asking me out in high school and offered to fly me out to visit him. Her response? "Has he seen what you look like now?" FML

well she's making a good point. you're gonna fly out just for a guy who says he likes you when he hasn't talked to or seen you since highschool. idk. sounds a bit sketchy

Oh, pixie! In the context of the club, it means Inevitable Multiple Orgasms. I hope that drives you mentally oblivious! ;)

This might just be me, but that actually sounds like an innocent question. Most people look at least somewhat different going into their twenties than they did in high school.

Please don't fly out to see some guy who you used to know years and years ago. He could be a crazy psychokiller by now.

YDI for being ugly and fat. In order to be hot you must look like me.

Your mother asked you a valid question. Have you allowed him to think something besides the full truth about your appearance? If you've changed in more ways than simple aging, such as getting FAT, then you should not let him think you are still fit and have him make an uninformed decision with his cash.

Ouch...I hope she meant it a different way but still...That's a bit cold. As for your buddy there, maybe you shouldn't fly up to meet him...I mean that's not exactly safe, he could have lost a few screws over the years =S
