I spent $20 on my Fiance's engagement ring, and she picked it out! Seriously, money doesn't matter at all in a relationship. You're a materialistic bitch, and I would have dumped you a long time ago.
at least he loves u enough to buy a ring and not make u pay for it
I personally couldn't care less about how much money my special someone would spend on the ring... I work in a jewelry department and I have helped many devoted boyfriends that have agonized over our selection to find the perfect ring that they could still afford. My lover could propose to me with cubic zirconias and I would still squeal with delight. The most important part of a relationship is the love, caring, and romance and the fact that they want to spend the rest of their life with you... not the price of some rock.
Stop whining. He's making sure he gets a ring you like, and he's on a tight budget. He loves you enough to marry you. Some people can't afford $2,000 rings.
Listen sweetheart, my dad spent about that much on my mother's engagement ring. You know how long they've been married? 27 years. He's trying to do the best he can for the money he has to please you, by letting you pick out a ring you like. Quit whining you little brat. YDI
I don't see why he would want to marry a materialistic bitch...

It's about the love, not the ring.
$200 is way more than you should spend on a ring anyway. YDI for valuing the ring over the love!
