Today, while shopping, I stepped a bit closer to a couple that stood in front of a display. The girl then shot me a nasty look, grabbed her boyfriend and started pointedly making out with him. I was just trying to buy some butter. But thanks for reminding me how lonely I am. FML

Today, I was at the mall and I noticed this guy staring at me from across the food court. He smiled and waved at me so I walked over there and tried to talk to him. He was looking at his girlfriend the whole time. FML

Today, I went to the mall with my girlfriend to buy some new clothes, and I turned around to give her a quick kiss. My lips were half-way to "her" face when I saw instead the face of another lady. She slapped me. My girlfriend was standing next to me, very pissed off. FML

Today, in a convenience store, I asked a girl who wasn't wearing her mask and not keeping her distance to step away. After telling me to fuck off, she put her mask on, went to the teenage manager and said I was harassing her. Even after hearing my side of the story, I was asked to leave. Turns out it was his girlfriend. FML

Today, I was at the mall with my friend when I saw my boyfriend in Victoria's Secret - with another girl. They were joking and laughing, and I was really pissed off. So I stormed into the store and slapped him. He looked up at me with an angry and confused expression. It wasn't my boyfriend. FML

She seems like she was actually threatened by you and needed to close her boyfriends attention away from you. You probably are just more beautiful then her and her boyfriend was checking you out

This is very true. I've noticed that I only ever get dirty looks from girls when I put more effort into my appearance (ie: dress & heals, versus t-shirt and jeans). I guess OP can take comfort that that girl most likely felt threatened by and jealous of her beauty, as well as the fact that OP doesn't have such an awful personality!

I think I'd rather be single than be in a relationship where I'd have to aggressively make-out with my boyfriend whenever another girl came too near to him. It sounds very stressful.
