Same thing happened to me in Band class. The director was talking about auditions for a competition and saying how there will always be someone better than you not matter what. Then I "quietly" said, "Unless you kill them all." Not as quite as I thought but both him and the class laughed at my inner dark side. He even made a joke about having to assassinate them.

schools these days have a zero tolerance policy which I'm sure you are aware of, they take those threats very seriously even if it was a joke. you should have known better.

Same thing happend to me. I was new in 'that' school and well someone asked me why I was so silent. Thanks to my teacher she said "Most of the serial killers are silent so you shouldn't mess with him" and now whole school thinks I'm a serial killer. >_
