While it is not my cup of tea, I don't worry about it. They don't hurt anyone (without permission) and enjoy a social life. However, you didn't need to be told that. Learning any parents kink is most def a huge FML.

Indeed. As a parent and a kinky person, the last thing I need is my kids finding my stuff, especially when you add in the wrinkle of them telling my ex. Finding out that your parents have any sort of sex life, much less what it is, sucks.

Even if it's not kinky, it's a bit awkward. I still remember when I came how to my empty-nester, 55+ parents' house for a weekend during school, my mom asked me to grab a book she'd been reading from her nightstand upstairs so she could tell me about it. I found the book and right next to it, I also found their half-empty tube of KY lube. It's perfectly normal, especially with the kids out of the house, but still not something I wanted to think too much about.
