Today, I was singing one of my favorite songs in my car while at a red light. A guy made it a point to get my attention and said, "If you're really going to sing that bad, you should probably roll your windows up." FML

Turn up the music and sing louder. Car singing is like shower singing; it's not supposed to be good, it's supposed to be loud and obnoxious but sound good to you!

YDI. You should listen to him. He was trying to teach you how to be considerate around others. I doubt anyone wants to hear you sing badly while they wait at a stoplight. Looking at these comments, I wouldn't be surprised if you people encouraged annoying others with talking/singing on a public bus.

Just because some uptight douchebag in his car said that OP sang bad doesn't actually mean she did. And even if she wasn't the best singer, she has the right to sing whatever she wants, whenever she wants. If you want to live life miserable and colorless, go for it. Just don't drag others down with you.

There is a huge difference between going up to someone on a bus while obnoxiously singing vs. singing in your car with the windows down.

I would wind down ALL the windows, turn up the music and sing as loud as you possibly can, and sing horribly in purpose just to annoy him.
