The struggle

Today, my son came to complain that all he and his girlfriend do is have sex, yet never talk to each other. As his dad, I tried to give him good advice, but as his mom makes me miserable every time she opens her mouth, it was a struggle to think what to say. In fact, he’s living my idea of paradise. FML

First off: get a divorce. Second off: I was in that position at one point after my ex-wife left. I was seeing a woman 15 years younger than me (she was 24; I’m not a kid-toucher) who was drop dead gorgeous and only wanted me for sex. That may be your idea of paradise, but it’s not everyone’s. It wasn’t mine and it sounds like it’s not your son’s. He wants an actual partner, not just a hookup. Far be it from me to knock two people who agree to have strictly a sexual relationship where both parties are comfortable with it. But don’t assume it’s every man’s dream. And also, again, if you’re that unhappy, get a divorce.

JFC. You only keep your wife around to be your ******* domestic servant and so you won't be lonely. Grow The **** Up!
