Today, I got a new title at work. My boss hyped it up and made it sound amazing, so I accepted. Come to find out it pays 20k less a year and is twice as much work. FML

Sorry you got suckered into such position. However, I still voted YDI cuz it's an internal recruitment and you should have held out till you knew all the facts. Especially the pay part.

This is why you check the important shit before you sign up for something. ALWAYS check out details like pay, work hours, etc.

YDI One should ALWAYS check the details, both minor and major, before making a decision. You missed the boat on both counts. And I would have to then wonder how good an employee is when they make such a major decision with knowing the facts. is said employee using those terribly faulty decision skills in their job? Again, YDI.
