Today, I found out that my husband of 12 years has been sleeping with my best friend of even longer for who knows how long. She actually tried to turn it around on me and implied that it was my fault for finding out about it. FML

My cousin is having a similar problem. All you can do is bite your tongue and bare it. Unless you wanna mess with their things to get back at them. But that would be spiteful and wouldnt make you any better than them.

For all the people blaming the OP for signing a lease with her best friend, my parents and their best friends bought an AMAZING house together 18 years ago. They are insanely happy and I can't imagine anything like this ever happening between them. To the OP, how horrible, I can't imagine what you're going through. As some people have already pointed out, contracts (even strict ones) can usually be broken. Talk to a lawyer, talk to the landlords, there will be a way out of this lease. Hold your head high and good luck.

get someone else to take over your part of the lease. You cant be expected to stick around in that situation, it will make you look and feel bad. a third wheel in your own marriage, ditch them both and start over, these situations never work out. You now know your husband is a loser and your best friend is a ho.
