Time for a freakout

By Meg - 15/07/2011 22:24 - United States

Today, I was on the elevator at work. As it descended, a roach started scurrying about around my feet. I freaked out and started screaming, hitting the panic button without thinking. Now I'm facing a hefty fine for using the panic button when there wasn't a "real" emergency. FML

That's because that isn't a real emergency

roaches are a serious thing nowadays. we all HAVE seen the oreck pest control commercials right. cockroaches are making a stand these days and I believe it's about time we do something about it! stand side by side with me people as we march down the entire population!! first it's elevators, then it's bathrooms, nxt. their Gunna be in the airplanes!! make a stand with me today! and together we can stop this catastrophe!!

I'm calling fake on this. I HATE roaches and I'm pretty sure my reflex would be to step on it and kill it.. not to reach over and press the panic button.

Hey it was your fault but I'd have probably done the same.

u can't sue for roach infestation if u see ONE roach. Wherever you are, theres always gonna be a roach near u.

I understand that maybe it was a little startling. I understand if u kinda freaked for a second. But that doesn't constitute as an emergency at all because you can just step on it. I don't care how afraid of roaches u are, cuz they cause no harm and can be kill easily
