Thankfully I wasn't stung, and I do appreciate on the long run them hitting me with a textbook. It could've been a lot worse than a headache.

And was it?
A textbook? A folder would do the same thing and hurt less...but better than an iPad or something...
You just got facebook. lol
Couldn't the stinger have pierced your skin by the bee being smashed against your face?
Could have, but didn't. All depends on how the misfortunate bee was oriented. Guess it didn't pierce her.
I'd say that he would have been better off if the person hadn't tried to kill it on his face. There's a better chance that it would fly away. Also, some bees release pheromones that attract others when they're killed. That would be terrible for someone who's allergic to them.
That's an odd mechanism, #73. I'm not saying you're blowing smoke, but why would a bee release pheromones to let others know where it was and attract them to a place where they could possibly be killed? Or are the pheromones there to let the colony know that they should stay away from where the unfortunate bee was killed?
I guess you haven't watched a lot of animal planet. bees release the pheromones when they are in danger to alert the other bees where the danger is so they can go and **** shit up. Why else do you see those bad videos where it starts when one person kills a bee and a swarm suddenly thickens out of thin air and attacks them? Bees protect family.
Well is it dead ?
Sitcom episode starter right there
I'm imagining a music textbook. You know, one in B-flat.
Poor thing. Sometimes life can just slap you in the face. Hope you feel better.

I think I'd take a textbook to the face than a allergic reaction anyday.
32, what did this plant ever do to you?
