Today, a bee flew into my classroom and landed on my cheek. Not only am I allergic to these things, I was hit in the face with a textbook to "make sure it's dead." FML

Thankfully I wasn't stung, and I do appreciate on the long run them hitting me with a textbook. It could've been a lot worse than a headache.

To the people saying 'better than being stung,' it's not like those were the only two options. A bee can land on you without stinging you and even if someone wanted the bee dead, they didn't have to smash it on someone's face. As people have already pointed out, it could have actually CAUSED the bee to sting OP.

For some reason this FML reminds me of the time in science class a girl sitting by the windows squealed in fear and said she saw a wasp on the window, (we used to have a 'class pet' as a joke which was a wasp we named Henry) so my teacher just chuckles and says, "Oh, hey it's Henry," and picks up a textbook and slammed it into the window and killed him.
