For those who didn't understand: OP got a shot in the arm, not a shot in the calf.
I feel your pain, OP! I've had every wormer and antibiotic under the sun sprayed in my eyes from a faulty needle/syringe. I have yet to stab myself, though. That sounds horrible. Wasn't there any sort of stanchion/head catch that you could hold the cow in?

We always run ours through a chute, it helps a lot.
Wasn't there a chute or something that the cow was in. Your working conditions are worse than mine and I just work for my school at our cow field.
Some city people are idiots. Actually most are lol. Im from the city but even i understand a good deal about the goings on with farm life and I have never even lived on one. its called educating yourself. sorry you got injected. dont go turning into a cow now ;)

I'm a city girl and I completely understood this Common sense, people You get vaccinated, You take your pets to get vaccinated, obviously farms animals can get vaccinations too
I dunno if cowgirl would be as cool as spider girl but here's hoping you at least get super powers. livestock are jerks fyl

This same thing happened to me.. It was an automatic needle gun and because I work for a high school ag department I had to go have blood tests and fill out about 50 pages worth of paperwork. Good news is I'm vaccinated again bovine aids.
