Probobly a dare. Rude, but don't take it personally.
Sounds like a dare. That sucks for op
that's ******
I hope it's not too late to pretend like nothing happened. That way she'll think you're not interested enough to call and the joke will be on her.
Maybe it was a dare. In very bad taste.
Vindictive. Who the **** goes out of their way to make someone feel shitty?
(605) 475 6968 is the rejection hot line. You're welcome.
Maybe it'd be too creepy, but try and find her real number. Then you can call and thank her for giving it to you. Of course, that wouldn't work if someone else had originally written the hotline number down and she'd merely delivered it.
Maybe she was nervous wrote down the wrong number?

Next time you see her, put her on the spot & tell her you lost her number & then ask her for it. First, she'll be bummed her "trick" didn't work & second, she'll feel bad when you don't call her. Turn about is fair play.
Curious as to what OP's interaction with her has been thus far that made the girl feel the need to do this. If OP has been creepy, maybe she's being proactive. But if OP truly just knows her "in passing" this is a total dick move on the girl's part.
