Today, a few weeks after moving in with my boyfriend, I borrowed his phone to Google something because mine was dead. His most recent searches? "How kill cat", "Kill cat laws", "Cat + poison". I thought he was ok with my cat when I moved in. FML

Do some Google searches on "how to kill boyfriend", "murder laws", and "best poisons hard to detect"... and be nice to your boyfriend: surprise him with a cake, offer him coffee, cook him something nice...

Ummmmm.... Confront him about it, because that's ****** up!

Please get out now and take your cat with you. That is not normal.

I'm possibly the most anti cat person there is, but even I wouldn't stoop this low

Run...That's some psychopath shit

That's not alright, talk to him, and if he is seriously thinking about killing your cat, you may wanna reconsider your relationship.

And you really believe he will gonna admit that he was planning to murder the cat? I don't think so.

Dump his arse! You wouldn't forgive yourself if he managed to hurt your kitty :(

I don't think I've ever been so anxious for a follow up. Just take the kitty and run. If there's a chance that he's already lied to you once, it's not worth talking to him about it.

I'd take a screenshot of the search history & text it to myself, just in case he erases his search history. Then you have proof of what was on his phone. It's your decision what to do with that information.

Get out as soon as you can. The fact that he'd be willing to go behind your back and kill your beloved animal without discussing it like an adult, or tolerating it period, doesn't bode well for your safety or health at all. I have a 16 year old kitty and if someone even thought about harming her I'd be gone in an instant. good luck to you, keep your pet safe!

Same with me. Except it'd be *they'd be gone in an instant...permanently

Yeah you may want to move back out. This is obviously not a safe situation for your cat. I would even suggest taking it a step further and see if someone can take your cat so it's safe. That's your baby, please take the right steps to save its life. Not to mention and other have said this I know. But if he's willing to hurt your cat, he would be willing to hurt you. He's not worth it. Run, baby run and don't look back.

i could have sworn when i read this it said my cat is dead. i will gracefully accept downvotes!
