JRech tells us more.
OP here. It's a FML to me because, I'm not ashamed of being a gamer, I feel that it's just a pretty dorky situation. I totally was caught off guard when the site gave this entry the green light. I just thought it would be funny to share. A bit of background though, #155 is completely right, it's only been like 4 years.

OMG YOU'RE LIFE IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOO ******!!! notice the sarcasm......wow these FML's have been sucking lately......
Honestly, that's not that bad. I can see how you could see it that way, but there's nothing wrong with being a regular at a place with merch that's constantly changing and updating.
Yeah it doesn't take that much to recognize someone... None of this is that bad we are bashing these guys because of what popular culture tells us... If the guy worked in the store for five years that's enough time to see someone to "grow up" and it's nice that he noticed, the kid probably has a life outside of video games and I have friends with a stacked, at least to me, selection of games and are totally normal and social... How many times have you heard, oh I can't wait for this game to come out"... The kid probably has a social life and the employee probably will get a better job and if not and he likes it, who cares? Also people take fml's too seriously like they are actually doing this for pity or they really are loathing over their lives, I believe they are meant for a good chuckle which most of them are good for including this one... And guy if your live is really about video games and you are good, move to south koerea win some competitions, get treated like a celebrity, make money, and get hot chicks :) heck, I would if that's what I really wanted to do and was good at video games

That's more of FHL. He's been working at a game store for all those years. Atleast you had an excuse, you liked playing video games. Not all kids are into going out and playing sports etc.
i don't gets whats bad about that... so the guy who works at the store knows you, it's a mark of a good salesperson
