Today, I'm grading final projects for a junior level college class. A student finally turned in their work, after months of encouragement and coaxing. Half of it was plain wrong, the rest had so many spelling and grammatical mistakes, it appeared to be written by a drunk autocorrect program. FML

Today, as I went into my calculus class, the teacher announced that someone had received a negative grade on the test we were getting back. I laughed and said, "Which f*cker managed to get a negative?" Turns out I'm the dumbass. FML

Today, I was called to solve a problem question at the start of a lecture. I stupidly went up to the board before telling the lecturer in front of 300+ students that I had no Idea what he had been doing the whole week. The lecturer made a sneery comment about why some of us are blockheads. FML

Am I the only one who wishes to abolish the "No Child Left Behind Act?" I think there should be exceptions and in this FML's case, I think she needed to be left behind for her own good.

you could call him a founding father of the modern age, but no, definitely not an American founding father. I suck at american history, it's pretty common for nationals to know more about the history of other countries better than their own.

A while ago, I was in a group with this guy for a history project that was worth a large percentage of our final grade. Within the first few moments of working, he turns to me and asks "John F Kennedy was president right before Obama, right?" He didn't take my word for it either, because then he started asking nearby groups if "JFK was 43?"
